LOUD

The concept behind Loud was to craft a functional ambient light fixture inspired by traditional anti-glare principles. Gentered around a glare reduction grid, Loud seamlessly blends minimalism with a hint of industrial charm, reminiscent of a suspended speaker. With the addition of an indirect uplight version, Loud becomes a versatile element that enhances a variety of interior spaces, adding character without overwhelming the environment.

CORKA

“After being approached by Zero to design a sustainable pendant, we immediately began researching with a clear set of criteria: the lamp should be crafted from a single, renewable material, be versatile and durable, and produced using energy-efficient manufacturing processes. Additionally, it needed to use the minimum number of electrical components.

With these goals in mind, we developed Corka, a compact pendant crafted by pressing granulated cork into a two-part mold. Corka’s conical form features a soft internal edge which provides a graduated light effect from the neatly fitted GU10 light source. “

Cork is one of the most sustainable materials available, sourced from the bark of the Quercus suber (cork oak tree), which regenerates in 10-year cycles after harvesting. This remarkable material naturally biodegrades without releasing harmful toxins, and the cork industry makes efficient use of nearly all byproducts, further enhancing its low impact credentials.

Corka is available in 2 woven cable options and black or natural linen, a highly regarded fabric which also shares many of the low impact credentials as cork.
