We would like to introduce the brand new products from Bla Station, launched last week at the Stockholm Design Fair.
VILLHEM by Borcellius & Bernstrand
Villhem is a play with words. Vill hem! Meaning; I want to go home! The design is a continuation of our interpretation of future requirements in core values and construction.
Villhem comes with a layer glued compression moulded wooden seat shell and armrest which can be upgraded with padded armrests, upholstered seat, backrest and a neck cushion. Villhem also comes as supersoft, with a steel and no-sag inner frame comfortably padded in leather.
ABLE TABLE by Borcellius & Bernstrand
Last year's super success ABLE – the chair that was born by thinking inside the box, complying with all existing and future requirements, laws, regulations and certifications – from sustainable, renewable, changeable to recyclable and everything in between, is now expanding into a table system.
The ABLE Table has a steel structure, zinc plated fittings, double-sided glass plates with one side black and the other a spy mirror glass. Available in two different heights and three different sizes.
DECOFUNC by Osko + Deichmann
Decofunc is a functional decoration for the wall. The designers and Blå Station wanted to explore a multi-flexible, non-permanent pattern, which goes hand in hand with functionality. We call ourselves functionalists, and now we have a product that explores function and decoration in an infinite system. Decofunc has a steel frame that can be rotated in four different directions – creating endless variations – solid wood knobs, non-permanent additions in hot-cast recycled polyester felt and soon with flat inserts in wood, steel or felt. Beautiful with and without add-ons.
DRIP by Stone Designs
The Spanish design studio Stone Designs has once again created a form that we can't resist. Like a thumbprint in soft clay, the shape feels familiar and timeless. Like the three previous sound absorbers/wall decorations, Ginkgo, Gaia and Arc, Drip is multifunctional in that it is ONE panel that can be rotated in four different directions or swapped places with others, creating new and endless patterns. Drip reduces ambient noise and echo in the room, giving the room the best sound quality while creating a colourful and inspiring atmosphere. Drip mounts to the wall with a magnetic mount, so you can easily move the panels around whenever you feel like it, perhaps to change direction or go from light to dark.
BOB LONG by Bernstrand & Borcellius
The original super-sofa system, which in just 8 years has inspired the furniture industry all over the world to follow suit – is still growing. In 2025, BOB is (so far) expanding with a new module - BOB LONG, a new seat that is as deep as the regular seat + a backrest assembled. The new seat module opens up new possibilities, an infinite Lego for architects.
The PDO journey started in 2017 with 6 moulded parts combined into 10 sections and is now a sofa system with almost unlimited possibilities, constructed with the least number of modules possible. BOB is an easy-to-understand and extremely flexible sofa system. Where regular sofas are usually rectangular, square and predictable, PDO offers the architectural freedom to either challenge or enhance any type of space.
BOB is fully clad in all directions, which opens up even more possibilities when dealing with the ever-changing interior architecture. The simple construction requires minimal maintenance: an FSC-certified plywood frame with a robust yet soft moulded polyurethane foam and a wide selection of fabrics and colours.
Dunder X by Stefan Borselius
All we need are pillows! A large pillow to sit on and a pillow to lean your back on, and maybe a pillow to rest your arm on. It would be nice if that was all, because pillows have nice shapes, square yet rounded. Dunder X is pillows. Cushions to provide comfort in any environment. All you need to add is yourself and maybe even more pillows. A soft shape consisting of cushions and connectable sections – friendly and inviting. Dunder X is modular and can be changed to suit any environment you want. You can add Dunder X sections as you wish, back to back or front to back, as both the back and armrests fit within the surface of the seat. Updated 2025 without buttons in the cushions. Covered buttons are optional. Dunder X consists of five different sections – the middle, corner, left and right armrests, as well as a footstool and armchair. Flip and twist and combine to your own taste.
Turn Dining Table by White
Turn was introduced in 2023 as a small coffee table in three heights and sizes for all in-between spaces. A straightforward elegant table that fits just as well in the hybrid workplace as in the private home. Now we let Turn enter the restaurant and café environments as a dining table with a higher height of 72cm and a steel footplate. The tabletop can be round, square or a "round-square" where the sides are straight, which invites the opportunity to put together tables for a closer community. With Turn, we welcome interior design back into the world of design.
