A contemporary lighting collection based on a strict Scandinavian design approach in which anything superfluous is erased and you are left with only the logical and relevant parts. The focus is on simplicity and functionality which has resulted in a cohesive collection of beautifully designed decorative lighting which will enhance any interior.
Orient Aluminium Pendant
These qualities are still apparent today with wonderful new lights being added to the collection, and in contrast to the contemporary designs there are also a scattering of older, classic pieces within the assortment of lamps. Examples of these are the KAISER idell range, originally designed in 1936, which adds an historic note, together with the very successful Orient pendant, a Jo Hammerborg design from 1963. In the same vein, launched April 2018, the geometrically designed Cross-Plex table lamp by Danish architect Bodil Kjær, which first saw the light of day in 1961, is introduced into the Fritz Hansen family.
